December may still be a ways away but in the blogging world it’s important to start thinking about Christmas early! I’m sharing the best pictures from my Christmas decorations last year to help inspire you for your decor this year. I have a lot of colorful 1950s and 1960s kitsch decorations that I put out. I start decorating the first day in November and I hope this inspo post will help you with your own home decorating!
1950s meets modern day
I love 50s and 60s Christmas decorations so much and I put them all over my electric fireplace. They’re nostalgic for me and remind me of my childhood Christmas with my Oma and Opa. My green pie safe looks at its best when it’s full of Christmas decorations. It has hooks on the inside that are perfect for hanging vintage Christmas mugs and Santa mugs.
Christmas living room decor
I love ceramic Christmas trees, vintage and new! The one in the center I painted myself and the other two are vintage and I found thrifting. My pink desk in my living room contrasts with the Christmas decorations and really makes them pop!

Kitsch decorations
My decorating style is all over the place and I love “kitschmas” or kitsch Christmas decor. Vinnie Boy Vintage has the cutest kitschmas pillows check out their Etsy shop.

Aluminum Christmas tree
My silver tree isn’t actually a vintage aluminum tree it just looks like it. I found it thrifting and it’s not old but I still love it. I’m hoping to find a real vintage tinsel tree someday!
I love my vintage egg nog set! I found it at an estate sale and I love decorating with it. Hopefully someday I’ll get to host a Christmas party and make real eggnog to put in it.
I can never get enough Christmas tins I’m always on the lookout for them. Also the little scotch tape dispensers have the perfect coloring for Christmas.
