I decorated my vintage Halloween bookcase with a lot of eclectic antique pieces this year. Mixed in with the Halloween trick or treat blow mold pails are some spooky collectibles. Let's take a look at all the bats and other Halloween decorations!

Jack-O-Lantern trick or treat pail blow molds

I started by creating a line of trick or treat pumpkin pails starting with the smallest at the top and getting bigger on each shelf. You can buy vintage jack-o-lantern pails on eBay or find them affordably at thrift stores.

Antique Clocks

I wanted to incorporate a bunch of my antique alarm clocks into my Halloween bookcase. You can watch me find a bunch of these antique clocks in the flea market video below.

I added other vintage decorations that aren’t necessarily “Halloween” but look great mixed in with my Halloween pieces. Like my vintage camera, binoculars and old liquor bottles.

I made a lot of my own decorations too on this shelf. In the pictures above you’ll see quite a few cylinder containers with vintage Halloween images and advertisements on them. I upcycled cheese puff cannisters and coffee tins to make those!

I added a lot of vintage Gurley candles because I love the little kitschy characters like the owls, cats and witches. I also thrifted some candy corn shaped candles that I put all over the shelf too.

Halloween bats

I finished the shelf off by cutting out some paper bats. I printed off a bat template on Google and cut the template out of black cardstock. I used double sided scotch tape to adhere them to the shelf.
