Life Changing Gift Guide - Best of the Best Items To Treat Yourself
The best retro yellow colorful toaster

Best Kitchen Item - Cuisinart 12-Piece Stainless Steel Knives

Who doesn’t love adding color to their kitchen? This rainbow set is not only aesthetically pleasing but is also very affordable and an amazing knife set. They’re professional but also not something you have to fuss about taking really good care of them. I absolutely love this set.

Best Bedding - Threshold Sheet Set

I’ve had my first set of Threshold sheets for 6 years now and there is NOTHING wrong with them they have really held up. They’re so soft and comfortable. The best part about these sheets is the all-around elastic so it really stays put on the bed. And to make it even better? There are tags on the top and bottom of the fitted sheet indicating which end goes at the top of your bed. You’ll never accidentally put your fitted sheet on the wrong way again!

Best Retro Appliance - iSiLER Yellow Toaster

Kitchen appliances can be so ugly but this yellow toaster is absolutely adorable and works so well! I got it just for the color but I make toast every morning and it comes out perfectly. When the toast pops up it isn’t even that loud either, it’s much quieter compared to my old toaster. Get rid of your ugly toaster and buy this cutie patootie instead!

Gift Guide for Retro Christmas Lovers

Purple daisy flower power fleece throw blanket

Best Cozy Throw - 70s Flower Power Purple Daisy Blanket

This is my own design that I sell on Redbubble. But the fleece blanket is groovy (if I do say so myself) and it is so comfortable. I put it on my lap every day and wash it often and it’s really held up. I ordered a second one in another of my patterns and I love them.

Best All Around Gift - Cliganic Aromatherapy Essential Oil Set

This is a super affordable essential oil set that’s organic and has a large variety of scents. I bought this set in 2020 for candle making which I haven’t done yet but I plan to do this winter. When I received it the pack had two peppermints inside and was missing a lavender. I contacted the company and they shipped me the replacement lavender for free and I got to keep the extra peppermint!

I made my own shampoo with this and the oils smell amazing. When I got Covid-19 I lost my sense of smell for over a month and one of the recommendations to help get it back is to do smell therapy. I smelled these essential oils every day, twice a day, for a month and I believe it helped me get my sense of smell back.

Best Hair Item - Revlon Hair Dryer & Volumizer Brush

I am not very talented in the hair department so any gadget that can simplify it for me is appreciated. I watched this Brad Mondo video reviewing the Revlon Air Brush Hair Dryer and decided to buy it. It makes blow drying my hair 1000x faster and I don’t have to use a hair dryer and a round brush at the same time because this blow dryer combines the two. I’ve had it for two years now and it’s still growing strong, I never use my old hair dryer anymore.

Best Beauty - Beekman 1802 Products

Beekman 1802 is a wonderful company that I care about a lot. It started as a small business and has seen a lot of growth in recent years, and for good reason. Their goat milk products are the BEST. I use their milk bar face wash every day and it makes my skin so soft. I love their lotion, hand soap, and bar soap too. I’ve given away these products often as Christmas gifts because I know their items are high quality. You can’t miss with any of their products, but I linked my favorites.

Best Furniture Piece - SEI Electric Ivory Fireplace

I have gone on and on about this electric fireplace on my Instagram because it has truly been life changing. I live in Michigan and the winters here can be dark and a bit depressing. Having a cozy fireplace to look at in the depths of dark February has improved my mental health.

The fireplace is also a blast to decorate which you can see in my spring mantel and Halloween mantel blog posts. The fireplace works like a space heater so you can get warmth out of it too.

Best Travel Item - Kemier Collapsible Silicone Water Bottle

The best travel purchase I’ve ever made by far. These water bottles are very cheap and come in many colors. I bought my first one 6 years ago and have bought a second one, though the first one is still going strong. If you fly often this water bottle is great because you can have it empty and collapsed when you go through security and then fill it up once you’re through the gate. I also love this water bottle for hiking because it can easily fit in a side pocket of a backpack and is a bit bendable. It’s also incredibly lightweight so you’re not lugging a giant metal water bottle around.

What's a good record player to give someone

Best Record Player - Victrola Bluetooth Suitcase Record Player

I’ve had this blue record player for 5 years and it works amazing. It has a bluetooth speaker so you can play music from your phone through the record player. It’s really affordable and once you have it you can start shopping for cheap vintage records at thrift stores which I love to do. The record player come in a variety of colors and styles.

Best Bluetooth Speaker - Retro Bluetooth Speaker & Radio

This teeny tiny retro bluetooth speaker is perfect to listen to music loudly and portably. My phone speaker isn’t loud enough, especially when I’m outside putting clothes on the line. This little speaker is portable and can come outside with me to boost the volume of the music I’m listening to. It’s also a radio which I enjoy when it’s Christmas time and I want to listen to my local Christmas radio station.
