What are the best vintage Christmas items you can buy to have an old fashioned feel to your holiday decor? Here are my favorite antique and mid century modern pieces to give your home the perfect Classic Christmas look.

Plaid Christmas items

I love incorporating vintage decor that is red plaid. It fits in perfectly with Christmas and adds an exciting pattern. Here are my favorite items:

Vintage figurines

There are so many Christmas figurines to choose from but these are two of my favorites. Lefton angels can be quite expensive but I purchase the ones that are broken and that makes them cheaper, the one pictured has a broken halo.

Christmas village

Modern Christmas villages are cute but I’m very partial to vintage ones with putz houses, alpine houses, and bottle brush trees. You can see how I style my putz village and bottle brush trees on my Christmas shelf display.

Tins and Boxes

I have so many tins and I even made some of my own vintage Christmas tins. Shiny Brite ornaments are the cutest, especially the ones with patterns and special designs. I love decorating with vintage ice cream boxes, even though they aren’t exactly “Christmas” decor but they fit in and have the cutest graphics.

Holiday lights

C9 light bulbs are so colorful and perfect for filling jars, vases, and vintage dishes. Electric candles and candelabras make every room feel cozier.

Christmas paper & ephemera

Vintage Christmas wrapping paper is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I made a YouTube video with 7 different crafts and ways to display gift wrap! I also use vintage Christmas cards in the video as well.

Records and books

I love decorating with vintage Christmas cookbooks and I wrote a blog post with my favorite vintage recipes. Vintage Christmas records are pretty affordable and I use them on my gallery wall.
